Kente in Kumasi

Just when we had planned to go back to Ho Patricia made us change our plans so the next afternoon we took the plane to Kumasi! Kumasi is the capital of the Ashanti region where the traditional Kente cloth is made. We visited that place just as the King's palace and the huge market which is supposed to be 14 acres big. By myself I would have been lost after 2 minutes but gladly Anthony our driver was with us.
On the pic you can see some off the colourful kente cloth being made and then how it looks like in the end.
